David established the Bollington Dental Practice in 1977.
He is an enthusiastic, popular and highly experienced dentist, having worked in hospitals and general practice for over 40 years. He has also been employed in various posts by the NHS, including that of Dental Clinical Advisor, and has been involved in several university-based research projects and published accordingly.
In these days of increasing specialism David describes himself as a ‘generalist’ but has a range of trusted colleagues to whom he refers when specialist care is required.
He delivers a strong preventive message that promotes ‘minimal intervention’. He believes that, with parental support, decay in baby teeth can be completely prevented and strives to maintain the dentition of his older patients.
He lives in Bollington, supports local organisations, events and performances and is a volunteer Director of Bollington Health and Leisure.
