Root canal treatment at Bollington Dental Practice starts from £305, with the exact price depending on the tooth: front teeth have one canal, while molars have three or four and take longer. You will receive a written treatment plan with the exact cost before treatment begins. A back tooth is often best protected with a crown afterwards, and we will include that in the plan if it applies. All prices are on our fees page.

What to expect

We’ll gently remove the infected tissue from inside the tooth, disinfect the root canals, and then seal them to prevent reinfection. Finally, we usually protect the tooth with a crown for strength and longevity.

I lost a filling on my front tooth last evening. I rang at 8.30am today, spoke to Sarah who was lovely ( as always). Appointment for 9.40am with Ellie and dental nurse(apologies for not remembering your name). By 10am it was all fixed and replaced and I was delighted with the results. Professional, friendly and efficient. You can’t ask for more than that.

Myself and my family have been coming to Bollington Dental Practice for years and to say they are great, is an understatement! My two children feel so comfortable in the practice and enjoy coming, which is a testament to everyone as we know how a lot of children can feel about visiting a dentist! They come in, make themselves at home and enjoy learning about their teeth and what the dentists are doing! Sarah the Practice Manager is absolutely brilliant, we have such a laugh when speaking with her, on the phone and in person and she’s always so welcoming and accommodating to fit all of our busy schedules in! Myself and my husband recently had a hygienist appointment with Molly and Deb who we haven’t been to before, who were just brilliant! I am one of those people who is genuinely frightened of going to the dentists, until its absolutely necessary.I used to see Mr King at BDP, who was so good at making me feel at ease and helping me get through any dental treatment. When Mr King retired I was reluctant to return to the practice.However I started to experience pain and had to attend and have treatment. Ellie Burrows was my allocated dentist.Ellie is the most amazing dentist, she takes time to explain each procedure , giving information in a clear and concise way. I was encouraged to ask questions and to take time to think about the treatment.Ellie gives injections that can't be felt going into your gums, she uses drills ( my biggest phobia ) like feathers.I really can't recommend her highly enough, and during a root canal treatment I managed to fall asleep.I think Debbie 🤔 is Ellie's dental assistant, she was also so welcoming and professional.I can't thank them enough and would recommend them for managing my fears and insecurities, and making my visits such a positive experience.Thank you Bollington dental practice x
