Appointments are available from Monday to Thursday between 8.30am and 5.15pm. On a Friday, appointments are available between 8.30am and 2.00pm.

We ensure all patients get a text or email reminder for scheduled appointments and for recalling for their next examination, where possible. If you would like a postal or email reminder this can be arranged at reception.

Reception hours vary, as we try to take a lunch break between 1.00 and 2.00pm.

New Patients

We are happy to accept new patients on our dental plan or as fee paying private patients. We do accept NHS patients if we have capacity to do so. We do try and offer children free treatment on the NHS.

We schedule emergency slots daily to ensure we can offer our patients emergency treatment. Please telephone the practice as early as possible on 01625 574609. Please call the same number for out of hours arrangements.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

As valued patients here in Bollington, we appreciate you have busy lives which may mean you may not always be able to attend your dental appointments. We do send text or email reminders of your appointments. Please ensure that we have your correct contact details for this service.

Missed or broken appointments are the single biggest cause of extended waiting times. The quicker a dental problem, like tooth decay, is dealt with, the better the treatment outcome.

Unfortunately, as a result of the pandemic, waiting times have increased and therefore it is very important you keep your appointment.

If you need to cancel your appointment please give the practice as much notice as possible.

For those NHS patients who fail to attend two appointments, we cannot guarantee that further appointments will be made. Following failure to attend an appointment, you will be informed in writing of this failure.

For private patients a fee may be charged depending on the length of the appointment missed and at the discretion of the dentist.

NHS Patients

For those patients who have dental care provided under the NHS, should you miss an appointment or give less than 24hrs notice on more than two occasions, you will no longer be offered further appointments.

Private Patients

For those patients that pay for their treatment on a pay as you go basis, should you miss an appointment or give less than 24hrs notice you may be charged, depending on the length of the appointment missed.

Payment Methods

Cash, cheque, debit and credit cards are accepted. We do ask for payment to be made if treatment is carried out on the same day. Please contact reception for an up to date fee guide.

COVID-19 Update

As a healthcare setting with significant footfall, we must prioritise the safety of our patients, community and staff. Therefore, we will maintain our existing infection control measures and ask all patients who are invited to attend for face to face appointments to wear a mask or face covering whilst in the Practice. By necessity we will have vulnerable patients in our premises, and we must ensure that they are protected as best as possible.

We would like to thank our patients for their understanding and cooperation at what has been a very difficult time for everyone. We have made many changes to your patient journey to ensure your visit is as safe as possible and look forward to seeing you. Unfortunately, our late evening surgeries are not available at the moment due to extra time needed for deep cleaning.
