Our hygienist will remove plaque and tartar with a professional scale and polish, treat and prevent gum disease, freshen your breath, and show you the brushing and interdental techniques that keep your gums healthy between visits. Choose a 20 or 30 minute appointment to suit you.

Hygiene appointments are £60 for 20 minutes or £89 for a full 30-minute session, with an Airflow polish available as a £20 add-on. Do I need to be registered with your practice?
To see our hygienist you’ll need an up-to-date examination with us, within the last year. If you’re new to the practice, book a new patient examination for £60 and we can arrange your hygiene visit alongside it.
How often should I see a hygienist?
For most people every six months, though patients with gum disease may benefit from more frequent visits. Your hygienist will recommend the right interval for you.
Does a scale and polish hurt?
It shouldn’t. Most patients find it comfortable. If you’re nervous or have sensitive teeth, tell us when you book and we’ll take extra care.
