Dr James Tinning qualified from the University of Leeds and works in close collaboration with our referring dentists on restorative and implant cases within the practice. He has a special interest in restorative dentistry, with a clinical focus on fixed tooth replacement solutions including dental implants, crowns, and bridges.
James has completed a Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry and has gained the significant Membership in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a qualification that recognises his skills in implant planning, placement, and restoration. He is a member for the association of dental implantology, the British society of restorative dentistry and of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
James has lectured to other dentists on topics such as dental implants, crown and bridgework, and restorative dental techniques. He is also co-author of a peer-reviewed article published in the British Dental Journal on implant dentistry. Outside of dentistry, James lives in South Manchester with his family and has interests in Motorsport and following Newcastle United.
